Watch Free Men world exclusive clip online now

[brightcove]1641459152001[/brightcove]

Free Men, the latest film featuring the star of TF favorite A Prophet Tahar Rahim, hits cinemas next weekend.

To celebrate, we've secured a world exclusive clip.

It features a bit of background about Rahim's character Younes, an Algerian immigrant who joins the French resistance against the German occupation of Paris after forming an unexpected friendship with a Jewish man.

We also get to see a bit of flirting, and a bit of hand-washing. It's not exactly The Avengers, but it is a well-acted, delicately scripted scene.

So, if you haven't managed to make it to Cannes this fortnight, grab yourself a croque-monsieur, take a look at the clip above and then go see the full film next weekend.

It's exactly the sort of intelligent cinema those lucky journos on the Croisette will be watching this week.

And for anyone who's clicked the link by accident, here's The Expendables 2 trailer again. It's awesome.

New clip from Ben Wheatley's Sightseers: watch now

Sightseers, the new film from Kill List director Ben Wheatley, has debuted a new clip online, in which Steve Oram and Alice Lowe have an argument with a rambler over an errant piece of excrement.

The new film will follow the relationship between a pair of holidaymakers who head to the British countryside for a few days of fresh air, only to find themselves pushed over the edge by a host of unfortunate incidents.

Wheatley has described the film as "lighter" in tone than Kill List (not much of a stretch, to be fair), but there's a nebulous air of tension in the new clip that suggests the abundant laughs (and there are plenty to be had here) will be balanced by something a little darker…

Check out the new clip, below…

Much of the dialogue was improvised by the cast, which would go some way towards explaining the fresh, naturalistic style on display here. As funny as the clip is however, there's something about the whole set-up that creates a definite sense of unease in the viewer. It might not be Kill List, but we're certain Wheatley has a surprise or two in store…

Executive produced by Edgar Wright, Sightseers will be appearing at Cannes as part of the Director's Fortnight strand, with a UK release date set to be confirmed for later in the year.

Watch new Prometheus viral clip featuring Noomi Rapace online now

[brightcove]1518899591001[/brightcove]

Prometheus' disjointed advertising campaign continues to veer from spoiler-heavy clips to intriguing specifically made virals.

Thankfully, today's instalment falls into the latter category and is as brilliant as the Ted Talk and David ads that preceded it.

It features Noomi Rapace's scientist Dr. Elizabeth Shaw asking Peter Weyland (Guy Pearce) for financial assistance to secure the services of the Prometheus.

It's our best look yet at Rapace's philosophical and determined Shaw, who deploys a mixture of charm and steely resolution in her attempts to gain Weyland's support.

But she's not the only interesting element of the latest viral - the Yutani company makes its first appearance in the Prometheus universe, via the polygraph device Weyland uses to view Shaw's video message.

Watch the viral to see how Yutani's technology turns a heartfelt plea into a fairly sinister examination, by watching the viral below.

As much as we love this latest creepy piece of viral advertising, we can't help but wish Fox would turn off the promotional tap now - we've seen enough and are more than ready to pay for our ticket to see Prometheus in 3D.

To be honest, we were ready after the first trailer.

Still, not long to wait now - Prometheus opens in UK cinemas on 1 June.

New clip from Piranha 3DD: watch now

Piranha 3DD has released a new clip online, featuring David Hasselhoff serenading a sexual conquest with the self-penned ditty, Love Hunter.

Hasselhoff plays himself in the upcoming sequel, having been hired to be the celebrity lifeguard at the newly opened Big Wet waterpark, alongside a bevy of water-certified strippers.

Sadly for the pneumatically-proportioned punters however, Big Wet is about to become overrun by a shoal of uninvited guests. That’s right, those toothy little blighters are back in business!

Take a look at the latest clip, below…

The Hoff seems only too happy to laugh at himself here, although if we’re honest, we’re far more excited to see Gary Busey’s cameo as an unhinged farmer. And then there’s Ving Rhames, who’s now sporting a pair of shotguns for legs!

Piranha 3DD opens in the UK on 11 May 2012. Let the carnage commence…
